Dylan and Molly Olson are the third owner operators of Uptown Rentals; a local business that has proudly served Otero and Lincoln county since 1957. Upon taking over the ownership in June of 2021, the Olsons invested in doubling the equipment rental inventory and greatly increasing their offerings for the event services. The Uptown Team has been hard at work to improve quality, safety and customer service.

Before the purchase of Uptown Rentals and the Party Connection, Dylan and Molly were already hard at work in the Alamogordo community. Dylan came to call Alamo home by way of the Air Force; his last station being at Holloman Air Force Base. His background is in weapons loading (WARHEADS ON FOREHEADS) and aircraft maintenance in the 349 AMXS; where he and Molly are both now honorary commanders. In addition to the F-16’s, Dylan’s skills were also lent to the A-10’s and B-1’s. Dylan made the big leap to leave the Air Force after 14 years of service that encompassed multiple active-duty tours and deployments overseas to serve and protect our country. Dylan started becoming active in the real estate community and fortunately met his wife, formerly Molly Pattillo, by doing so.

Molly Olson is a native Alamogordian who has a strong passion for her community. She navigated to Lubbock, TX to attend and graduate from Texas Tech University (GO RED RAIDERS) and then moved to Dallas, TX to work in the alcohol industry. After a 10 year adventure, Molly returned home to work in real estate with her family. Through this line of work, she and Dylan were connected and began a business in buying and managing real estate as well as flipping homes.

The Olsons are overjoyed with the purchase of Uptown Rentals and the positive impact they can provide Alamogordo and the surrounding areas. They are expected to welcome their first child, Theodore, to the Olson/Uptown family in September 2022.
